Motorcyclist killed after collision with pickup truck, SAPD says

Crash happened near the intersection of Callaghan Road and Timco E.

SAN ANTONIO – A man is dead after a motorcycle and a pickup truck collided, according to San Antonio police.

The crash happened around 10 p.m. on Monday near the intersection of Callaghan Road and Timco E.

Police said a man and a woman riding a motorcycle collided with a pickup truck.

The man was pronounced dead on scene, and the woman was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck did stop to render aid and no charges are expected to be filed.

The name of the man killed has not yet been released, pending notification to next of kin.

The San Antonio Police Department, the San Antonio Fire Department and EMS all responded to the call.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing, police said.
